Mawson Completes 3,279 Line-Km Heliborne Survey at Rompas Gold-Uranium Project in Finland
Vancouver, Canada - Mawson Resources Limited ("Mawson") TSX - MAW; Frankfurt - MRY. Mr Michael Hudson, President & CEO, is pleased to announce Precision GeoSurveys Inc. has completed a radiometric-magnetic-VLF geophysical survey at Mawson's 100% owned Rompas gold-uranium project in Finland.
The results of this detailed 3,279 line-km heliborne survey flown at 50m line spacing over a 21km x 8km area are being processed and integrated with the extensive soil and geological exploration programs that are ongoing on the property.
Mr Hudson states, "A high quality geophysical survey was necessary for a prospect that shows such promise at this stage of exploration. Preliminary results show the survey was successful in defining both the structural setting for gold-uranium mineralization and radiometric targets for immediate follow-up. We are encouraged that field programs at Rompas are being executed as planned and the Company will provide a full exploration update shortly."
